Choice Band or Life Orb Weavile

currently using Choice band on my jolly weavile but bein locked into an attack has startin to get pretty annoyin, i was thinkin of switchin life orb onto it but im not sure if the loss in dmg will be worth it, currently runnin

Ice Shard
Pursuit
Night Slash
Low kick

ice shard and pursuit r my bread and butter ive trapped millions of gengars and revenge killed thousands of salamences with ice shard but will i still be able to OHKO them with life orb over choice band? OPINIONS PLX!

First off, this doesn't belong here, so I'll move it. Next, go with a focus sash on Weaville. A mence'll be able to take a Weaville in one hit any day, and if you can't get the shard off for a KO first, you get a second chance.

EDIT: Nesan, don't think you quite understood what I meant, I was saying if the ice shard doesn't KO, you get the second chance. As for the sash, that's just my opinion. I like keeping a Pokemon or two alive even if they become useless for fodder.

1. Focus sash is a waste on Weavile unless it's a lead
2.Ice Shard is a 1+ Priority move which goes before Salamence's moves which are 0 priority.

Here's a set you can try.

Pursuit is a waste on Life Orb set. It doesn't get the KO's that a Choice Band would so...

Swords Dance
Ice Shard
Low Kick
Night Slash

swords dance sounds good but weavile is squishy, i wont have many chances to use it besides on maybe a switch and depending on wat it is i'd probably wanna kill it with pursuit over gettin a +2 and them gettin a counter switched in
with choice band on weavile can kill latias with pursuit, and there are so many latias' on teams nowadays i dont really wanna give that up

You should go with life orb because then you wont have to just use one move

the best item u should use 4 weavile is a foucus sash cause it has bad defense

Night Slash can already KO Latias. Weavile may be frail but it's typing is good. I;'m sure there at least 2-3 chance in a battle to set up SD.
It does have decent special side with 85 base special defense. If you're sick of being locked into one move then SD is your best option over any other move.
As you said Weavile is frail with out any boost it doesn't make the KO's. If it fails to KO then it's going down for sure.

the point of havin pursuit on him tho, is to make him a revenge killer that most cant escape from, ive gotten 10x more ko's with pursuit then i have with night slash, MOST latias' i face switch out once weavile is out so pursuit is the ideal choice.

in light of recent events tho, a +2 swords dance boost with weaviles already beast 130 base atk might make for such an easy sweep, i think im gonna test it out

u should u life orb beacause it a better item beacuse it doesmt lock u in to one attack
