The "Random" Shiny Pokemon Encounter.

Have any of you guys ever run into a shiny completely randomly? (As in you weren't looking for a shiny or trying to chain them on 4th gen.)
I almost forgot about this, but a few years ago while I was playing either Ruby or Saphire, I ran into a shiny poocheyena at the very beggining of the game.

A shiny Golbat, Magneton, Sharpedo, and Mightyena.

i found one at the base of mt.silver..i believe it was a ponyta

I've never found a wild shiny

ive found like 4 or 5 : 2 in fr (slobro and ditto) : 1 in emerald (geodude) : 1 or 2 in platinum (omg cressila isnt that amazing and maybe i cant remeber if i got starly in there or diamond

i was playing my pokemon pearl and i was in a cave without max repel and pokemon kept poping up every minute and i ran in to a Shiny Golbat - But i was watching videos of Black Void glitch i tried it and i got stuck in black stuff... so i sent all my pokes to pokemon ranch and reseted the game and try take my pokemon back... and i couldent cause id never match (

I ran into a shiny tentacool once, but I evolved it and traded for a 12th movie arceus (I was so friggin happy) so now I have no shinies

i ran into a shiny starly

On pokemon crystal I ran into a shiny furret
on ruby i came across a shiny whismur
on sapphire i met a shiny spheal
on fire red i saw a shiny spearow
and on diamond i came across a shiny starly, skuntank, meditite and quagsire
